The Harvia heaters and sizes Harvia rates this sauna control for.
Harvia Cilindro Electric Sauna Heater Sizes: 8 kW · 9 kW · 10.5 kW
Harvia Club Electric Sauna Heater Sizes: 10 kW
Harvia Spirit Electric Sauna Heater Sizes: 8 kW · 9 kW
Harvia Virta Electric Sauna Heater Sizes: All sizes: 8 kW, 9 kW, 10.5 kW
Harvia Virta Pro Electric Sauna Heater Sizes: 20 kW Overview
The Fenix puts a 4.3-inch glass touch screen on your sauna wall. Harvia says the panel resists heat and moisture, can be surface-mounted or recessed, and may be installed inside the sauna room. It sets the temperature and heating time and switches lights and a fan. Per Harvia, it also learns how your heater performs and adapts, and software updates arrive automatically over Wi-Fi.
The kit includes the panel, the power unit that switches the heater, a heater sensor with a 4 m cable and the panel cable, so no contactor box is needed. Harvia's manual rates the FX45 for 10.8 kW on a single 240 V circuit, 17 kW when the heater is fed as two groups on two circuits, and 15 kW on 208 V three-phase, and Harvia says its LTY45 power extension can raise that. The power unit belongs outside the hot room, somewhere dry. In the MyHarvia 2 app, monitoring and alerts are free; remote start is Harvia's optional one-time Control upgrade.
We match it to the Harvia Cilindro, Spirit and Virta from 8 to 10.5 kW and the Club 10 kW, and, with Harvia's LTY45, to the Virta Pro 20 kW on 208 V three-phase. For the Club 12.5 and 15 kW and the Virta Pro 16 kW, we match the Xenio CX45.
In Ontario, control and heater wiring is a job for a Licensed Electrical Contractor, or for you in your own home after filing an ESA notification (permit).
No, per Harvia. The MyHarvia 2 app's Core features, including status, temperature, remaining time and ready alerts, are free. Starting the sauna remotely needs Harvia's optional one-time Control upgrade, and Harvia includes a 3-month trial with new compatible products.
Yes, according to Harvia: the glass panel is built for heat and moisture. The power unit is different and has to stay outside the hot room, somewhere dry.
Harvia's manual rates the FX45 like the Xenio CX45: 10.8 kW at 240 V on one supply circuit, and 17 kW when the heater is fed as two groups on two circuits. For the Club 12.5 and 15 kW and the Virta Pro 16 kW, we supply the Xenio CX45. Tell us your heater and we'll confirm the combination before we invoice.
No. Sauna controls are brand-matched: each maker calibrates its temperature sensor differently and uses its own wiring and signals. Harvia heaters run on Harvia controls, HUUM on UKU, and Homecraft on Homecraft TKE controls.
