What we collect

  • Order requests: your name, email, phone number, shipping address and postal code, the products in your cart and any notes.
  • Quote requests: the sauna style and size, your postal code and contact details, and any optional details or photos you add about your site.
  • Messages: what you send us by email, phone or text.
  • Invoices and payments: what we need to invoice you and record your payment. We don’t collect card numbers on this website or by email.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you, confirm stock, shipping costs and totals, and prepare your invoice or quote
  • To ship your order, or deliver and assemble your sauna
  • To help with returns and warranty claims, including sharing the needed details with the manufacturer when you make a claim
  • To keep the business and tax records the law requires

We send marketing emails only if you tick the separate sign-up box, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who processes it for us

  • The service that receives our website forms stores your order, quote and contact requests until we handle them, and may screen them for spam.
  • Our email provider handles the messages and invoices we exchange with you.
  • Our card payment processor handles card payments made through the secure link on your invoice. We never see your full card number.
  • Shipping carriers receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it’s there, it may be accessible to courts and authorities under local law.

Cookies and browser storage

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Your cart and postal code are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device, and they aren’t sent to us until you submit a form. Clearing your browser data removes them. Our hosting provider processes technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site. If we add analytics or other tools later, we’ll update this policy first and ask for your consent where required.

How long we keep it

  • Order requests, quotes and messages: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
  • Invoices and payment records: 7 years, for tax purposes.

When we no longer need information for these purposes, we delete it.

How we protect it

We use safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information and limit access to the people who need it to serve you.

Your choices

  • Access and correction: ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
  • Withdraw consent: you can withdraw consent at any time, though we may then be unable to complete an order.
  • Concerns: contact our Privacy Officer first. If we can’t resolve your concern, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. Questions? Contact us.
