Aitokiuas is the Aito line of heat-storing sauna stoves, now made by Finland's Narvi Oy, which says its production is entirely in Finland. A heat-storing stove works differently from a regular one: you fire it to charge a big mass of stones inside an insulated body, and the stones keep releasing heat long after the fire dies down.
We carry the AK-47 and AK-57. Narvi rates the 47 for rooms of 8–12 m³ and the 57 for 9–20 m³, with ceramic stone capacities of 60 and 90 kg, and both have a 150 mm flue outlet. Narvi recommends ceramic sauna stones for these stoves because they heat faster; natural stones warm more slowly but hold heat longer.
The stoves ship in parts that are assembled on site without mortar, and Narvi includes a 60° connecting flue. The casing is insulated and protected by rust-proof steel sheet, the firebox is built from fireproof mass and cast elements, and fire brick lines the stone compartment.
A stove with a large, insulated stone mass. You heat it up with a fire, and the stored heat keeps the sauna warm for hours afterward, rather than needing constant firing during use.
