A water tank turns spare heat from the chimney into hot water for rinsing, a traditional feature of cabin saunas without running hot water. The tank here mounts on the flue itself, so the rising gases heat the water while the stove burns.
A flue-mounted tank is made for one chimney system. Narvi's 22-litre tank forms part of the Narvi Sauna Chimney and matches its 255 mm width, so it takes little room above the stones.
Narvi pitches its 22-litre tank at smaller saunas. Some Narvi stoves, such as the Kuru and NC versions marked VS, have a water tank built into the stove itself, so check the stove before adding one.
Narvi's tank fills from the top, with a hose or a watering can if there's no running water. In a sauna that isn't heated through the winter, plan to drain tanks before freezing weather.
Not any tank to any stove. A flue-mounted tank fits one chimney system: the Narvi tank fits the Narvi Sauna Chimney.
Narvi's tank fills from the top, using a hose or, where there's no running water, a watering can.
If the sauna isn't heated in freezing weather, drain the tank so water can't freeze and damage it.
