Why choose a Luna sauna
A Luna’s front and back walls are rounded squares, wrapped in horizontal wood staves, under a flat, slightly sloped roof. Most have a glass front or a glass door. Choose from five footprints, from about 5 × 5 ft to 8 × 8 ft.
A good fit if you want a contemporary shape, plenty of daylight and a view of the garden while you sit. Plan to brush snow off the near-flat roof, and size the heater for the glass.

What changes the price
- Footprint: each size up adds seats and cost
- Heater: electric or wood-burning, and a bigger heater for a large glass front
- Glass: a full glass front, side windows or tinted glass
- A recessed porch with benches
- Wood species and grade: clear, knot-free wood is usually an upgrade
- Roof finish, lighting and interior extras
- Delivery distance, site access and assembly

Delivery and site prep
The sauna is the easy part. A level base, a clear route and power or a chimney plan make delivery day go smoothly.
How it arrives
- Lead time: 4–6 weeks from your deposit
- Delivery: quoted to your address, anywhere in Canada
- Assembly: quoted with delivery, for your site
- We confirm the base, delivery method and access your model needs with your quote
- A 40% deposit starts production, and the balance is due before delivery
Get your site ready
- Space: the footprint you choose, plus room to walk around it for maintenance
- A level, well-drained base: compacted gravel with pavers, a concrete pad, or a deck built to carry the sauna’s weight
- A clear delivery route, with no low wires or branches in the way
- Electric heat: a dedicated 240 V circuit, connected by a licensed electrician with any permit your province requires (an ESA notification in Ontario)
- Wood heat: a chimney kit sized to the stove, the clearances in its manual, and a call to your insurer about a WETT inspection
- Snow: the near-flat roof holds snow, so plan to brush it off after heavy storms
- Permits: every Luna size here has a footprint under 10 m² (about 107 sq ft), Ontario’s building-permit threshold for a structure without plumbing; other provinces set their own rules. Zoning setbacks and height limits still apply.

What is a Luna sauna?
A Luna is a box with large rounded corners. Its front and back walls are rounded squares wrapped in horizontal wood staves, with a flat, slightly sloped roof and usually a glass front.
How many people fit in a Luna sauna?
Typically about 2 to 3 people in a 5 × 5 ft Luna, 3 to 4 in the 7 × 6 and 8 × 6 ft sizes, 5 to 6 in an 8 × 7 ft and about 6 in an 8 × 8 ft. Bench layout changes this, so we confirm the seating for your exact model in the quote.
Does a glass front change the heater I need?
Yes. Heater makers add extra volume for glass. By HUUM’s rule, a 6 × 7 ft glass wall adds about 140 cu ft to the heating load, which can mean a heater one or two sizes bigger. Our heater size guide shows the math.
How does a Luna handle snow?
Its flat, slightly sloped roof holds snow rather than shedding it. Brush heavy loads off after a storm, and keep the path and door clear.
