Details
The uninsulated pipe between a wood stove and the insulated chimney runs very hot, and its clearance to walls and ceilings can be large. Narvi's flue shield mounts on that pipe, and Narvi says it reduces the safety distance from the pipe to combustible materials by 75%. That can make it far easier to fit the stove near a wall or bench. It stands 87 cm tall with a 25 cm diameter. Check the reduced distance in Narvi's instructions before you build.
