Overview
The Narvi Inari wood-burning sauna stove makes its stones part of the look. A steel grid wraps the upper body of this round stove, so you see the stones that store the heat and turn water into steam. Below them, a glass door in a cast-iron frame shows the fire, and adjustable legs let you level the stove on an uneven floor.
Narvi rates the Inari for saunas of 8–18 m³ (282–636 cu ft), from a family sauna to a roomy cottage build. It takes 60 kg of stones: 20 kg of larger 10–15 cm stones and 40 kg of 5–10 cm stones. The Inari Plus adds a lower stone cage for another 30 kg of 5–10 cm stones, for 90 kg in all. Narvi says it heats up on a fairly small amount of wood.
The 119 mm flue outlet connects on top as standard. For a rear connection, Narvi's manual has you cut three wires in the stone basket to clear a path for the pipe. The stove is 55 cm across and 77 cm tall (21.7 × 30.3 in) and weighs 54 kg, or 61 kg for the Plus, before stones. It's made in Finland; stones and the chimney are sold separately.
