About the Harvia Pro 20
The Harvia Pro 20 wood-burning sauna stove pairs strong output with practical details. Harvia rates it at 24.1 kW, and its stone compartment takes about 40 kg of stones for a lively steam when you ladle water. A cast-iron-framed glass door shows the fire, and the stainless front and top are easy to wipe clean.
It suits rooms of 8–20 m³ (282–706 cu ft): larger cottage saunas, family cabins and backyard builds where several people share the benches. Adjustable feet level it on an uneven floor and help line up the flue with your chimney, and you can connect from the top or the back. It can also take a chimney-mounted water tank or a protective sheath, both sold separately.
The Pro 20 SL has a firebox that extends through the wall, so you load wood from a change room or porch and keep bark and ash out of the hot room. Both need a chimney kit sized to the flue (115 mm on the Pro 20), sold separately, plus Harvia's clearances and a non-combustible floor.

What you need to install it
- Needs a chimney kit matched to the 115 mm (Pro 20) flue outlet, installed to the chimney maker's instructions.
- Keep the manual's clearances to walls, benches and ceiling, and set the stove on a non-combustible floor or base.
- For the Pro 20, Harvia lists 300 mm (11.8 in) at the sides, back and front and 1,300 mm (51.2 in) to the ceiling from combustible materials.
- Through-wall versions need an opening in a non-combustible (masonry or similar) wall. Many home insurers ask for a WETT inspection, so book one before the first fire.
