Overview
Details
A bare chimney pipe above a wood stove is one more hot metal surface in the room. HUUM's stone cage mounts on the stove around the pipe and holds a column of stones, which hides the pipe, stores its heat and gives you more stone to throw water on. Cages can be stacked for extra height. It's made of stainless steel, stands 43 cm tall and 30 cm across, and HUUM puts its capacity at roughly 30 to 40 kg of 5–10 cm stones. Stones are sold separately.

Questions
How many stones do I need for it?
HUUM quotes about 30 kg on its stone cage page and up to 35–40 kg on its HIVE Flow page, so plan on two or three 15 kg boxes of 5–10 cm stones.
